I thought I was looking for something. Turns out that I was looking for someone, and that someone already has a name. Finally! Have you ever felt the same?

One of the things that make me love photography is its capability to freeze and relive memories for me to cherish. This photo was taken while having a morning coffee at Vigan, Ilocos Sur.

We went there during the Holy Week and almost all the transient houses and hotels are fully booked! So we had to weave through all over the place and luckily found Casa Arcellana. It was a simple, yet well-kept transient house and the people are courteous and accommodating. Having lovely tea cups is definitely a plus!

Looking at this photo makes me smile, because I remember the good conversation that transpired during this moment. B and I were having coffee, while waiting for the others to finish preparing for our day’s sojourn around Ilocos Sur.

It is a rainy Saturday when after running an errand with babu, ramen seems to be a fitting meal due to the chilly weather. After filling ourselves with a satisfying lunch and wanting to end on a high note, that is dessert, we tried Caffera Photo + Café in Maginhawa.

I have been meaning to visit this café ever since it was launched and I am just glad to finally do so with my significant other. Wish I had my cameras with me, though! Nevertheless, I still had a blast! Lovely feeling to be surrounded by cameras! Despite the gloomy weather, we had a pleasant Saturday last week.

Give it a try sometime:

°13: Nostalgia and Japan

I get nostalgic whenever I look at these photographs that my sister took when we were in Japan. I miss everything about those times! Haplessly, though, I am aware that even if I can come back to Japan, it will never be the same again. The people who will welcome me at the airport will never be the same people who used to wave at me.

Nevertheless, it is comforting to know that I can always create new memories with my loved ones. Can’t wait to set foot on my second home again!
